This is overall a good purchase, only issue was a lack of support for the upper the top bed, which we fixed with a simple brace. Cats love carpeted posts, and this meets that need nicely.I turned the top curved perch to keep the cats from getting the wall dirty. This is very sturdy. Easy to assemble. Good quality rug used. Arrived quickly.I love this, and it was a major win with my cats.A girl can never have too many cat trees for her fur-babies. I had seen this cat tree by Go Pet Club on Chewy, but it was out of stock. So I looked for this same item on Amazon. It was on sale for a similar price as it was on Chewy, plus there was an additional coupon that could be used toward the purchase; so, I bought it.I was not disappointed. It's much larger than I expected for it to be. It is excellent quality. Assembly was easy. My cats love it.My girls are petite and all weigh between 7lbs to 9lbs, so they are an easy fit through the hole in the centre board. My boys, on the other hand, weigh in at 16lbs to 18lbs. Prior to purchase, I didn't reasonably expect for them to be able to climb through the hole; but, they did.At first the delivery was delayed, and I was worried that it would not arrive in time for Christmas. My cats know who Santa Paws is, and I was sad to think that they wouldn't have a new toy from him, on Christmas day. However, as always, Amazon delivers, and it arrived on time, and in perfect condition.I would definitely recommend this cat tree by Go Pet Club, and I would recommend making the purchase from Amazon. We had a cat tower exactly like this before and our cats wore it out over the many years we had it. I'm so happy we were able to find one just like our old one because our cats love it! They love the top level to lay on and one of our cats zooms through the tunnel all the time. Carpet cat towers are so much better than any of the other materials. The scratching post has saved our furniture and it held up very well over the years! Highly recommend! My cats have loved this for a year and a half now but I need to replace it because the posts under the house (I have the 65") are wobbly even though the screws are tight. The post in front of the house already broke and I replaced it with a post I cannibalized from another cat tree. My 8lb cat loves to rebound off the tree and she gets a bit crazy so that doesn't help. She has also shredded the carpet at the top to the point I need to trim the strings from the weave. I don't know if that's her being especially rough or if it's low quality carpet. Our household carpet isn't shredded by the cats and they regularly dig in. If your cat is a gentle player, this will be fine but if they are a gymnast or large/heavy, get solid wood post construction or you'll be buying a disposable piece of furniture. It was time to replace my cat's old and scratched up perch. My boys love their cradle perches. It is very difficult to find any posts with all or mostly carpet so I chose this. My cats do not like sisal and they refuse to scratch it. So after many months of looking I chose this. I received the Carpeted Cat Tree promptly. The accessories, tool and directions for assembly are included. The carpet color is nice. The length of the cradle perches is somewhat short. My cats are long Maine Coons. I tightened the highest perch several times however it still seems wobbly even when my smaller cat, who weights about 10 lbs, is moving around on it. I am concerned about that and I still may decide to return it. They seem to like the cradle perch and I was happy to see them laying on the top perch. The tunnel dimension is small. They like the tunnel with the window cut out and they reach in for their toys. They haven't started scratching on the carpet yet. The bolts are visible when you assemble it so that is not as attractive as those trees that are assembled first and then carpeted..For me to leave a 5-star review on a cat tree, it has to be really good. This design is great! We have two grown cats and they never felt comfortable to share a tree before this one. The fat one (14#) can easily move from platform to platform and the tree is still really stable when he's on the top platform (he fits easily on it).The quality of the tree is also great. The carpet is well-attached to the wood, and it was easy to put together.Update: I've had this unit about a year. Cats still love it. I covered the bottom posts in sisal because they were scratching on the carpeted posts and little polyester fibers were getting everywhere. The carpet on the platforms is still in excellent shape--I don't know what it is about this carpet, but it releases all stains immediately with a little Forex.I like this product for my cats, it holds pretty good. Although I wish it was a little more sturdy.I'll start by saying that the overall quality of the tower is good. The carpet seems of decent quality and the parts were all labelled and it was easy to put together. However, there is a major design flaw that makes this tower very shaky and unstable. The little house is only attached by two tubes. It is top heavy and as a result is very shaky. It makes us nervous. It's even more top heavy because the upper perch is on top of the house. The tower should have been designed with a third leg to give full stability to the very heavy house. We're now left have to think of a way to stabilize this tower by retrofitting it with a third leg to make it stable enough that it won't break and hurt our cat. I would not recommend this tower for this reason, which is unfortunate. Not sure how the manufacturers missed such a basic and obvious stability problem.I am having trouble, as I wanted so badly to rate this product high! It is the only one I found after a long hunt to be sturdy, the perfect size for on top of a big shelf below my window and still have a nice large top bed for my cat. Also, it was at a great price..........However, when I got it the amount of tiny fibers coming off the material is unreal. I continue to vacuum it and roll it with lint rollers which helps a lot but it seems to never really be done shedding. Also, one of the holes for a bolt in the seisel post was not theaded well and I had to put my own screw in which was fine with me. Now, I did somehow get an incredible deal. I only paid about $32 with my Amazon prime membership. I believe It was around $55 when I first spotted it, and then it was lowered so I bought it. Maybe it was cheaper because of a defect in the material but now I see the price has gone up to a whopping 170? What is going on with this cat tower. So unfortunate because it really is very nice!!I've had it for a little more than a month now, and my cat loves this tree. I love how it's balanced so that if he jumps onto the corner of the top shelf, the whole unit still remains firmly grounded on the floor and barely sways. The setup was extremely simple, and the instructions very clear. The only small issues I have is the nameplate riveted to the bottom is of very thin metal, and I'm worried if it bent, it could slice something - it's a little sharp. You can also see the screws on each platform, but they're gold, and the carpet is cream-colored, so it doesn't bother me.I'm happy with this tree, and my cat is too.I'd suggest staying away from this manufacturer's products. The connection material is cheap, which is sad, because it's hard to find cat trees using carpet for covering. As the photos show, the plastic connector just disintegrated. The tree was located by a window in a normally heated/cooled bedroom- nothing extreme. My cat is about 15 lbs and this cat tree is perfectly sized for him. I realized when looking at the details for many other products that they are only suitable for small cats or kittens, this one is great. It was easy to assemble and it's pretty sturdy. Only thing that could make it better would be if there was a heavier board or wood providing the structure, nevertheless so far so good.
