While these boots don't really have arch support, I haven't found it to be a problem. I haven't spent all day walking all over the city (as I will do periodically) but so far I've had no trouble with my feet hurting. I do love that these boots are warm, not excessively so and since I'm in California they aren't exposed to subzero temps but I tend to have cold feet all winter and now I don't.I need a wide calf (16" approx) and when I first put these on I thought they were too snug but that changed quickly. I feel like they've molded to me.I wear a size 10 shoe and have never needed a wide shoe. My feet fit perfectly inside of this shoe with just enough room at the end.The ankles are a little baggy but I don't mind.I also rather like the zipper for decoration at the rim of the boot. It is just half of the zipper track all around the top but it is an interesting touch.I've been looking for good sturdy leather boots that will last me to few year and I think I've found what need in these. The leather is thick and fairly supple. A bit tight in the toe with full Insoles, but I trimmed mine back and that seemed to do the trick. If they seem seem bit stiff at first wear them inside for a few days before returning them, they will get broken in in no time! It's hard find nice quality, low heeled boots that look good with long skirts and I'm very happy with these! The zipper in the back and no unnecessary buckles or studs mean that I can cross my legs at my desk and not have hardware digging into my knee or snagging my leggings. Not the grippiest soles when the ground is icy, but they're not the slickest either. I'm super happy with them!I bought these boots for my wife. The mulch color is more of a grayish brown, but I was expecting that based on other reviews. they seem well built and kept her feet totally dry in wet weather. However while she was walking down the sidewalk in these she stepped on a metal grate and slipped; and had another close call transitioning from concrete to tile. The soles of these boots don't offer much traction on smooth surfaces in wet weather so watch your step. Other than that she was happy with the boots and the comfort they offered.At first I thought these boots did not have enough cushion inside them to keep my feet happy. After wearing them several different days, several hours each of those days, I can say they are awesome! My feet do not hurt. They don't rub anywhere. They fit great straight out the box. The only suggestion I have is when you buy them go ahead and put leather conditioner on them, it makes them look and stay so beautiful!Really cute and comfy, but the light colored leather will show every scuff and bump, and quickly look dirty/stained. I'm considering dying mine to deal with this.These boots are great! They do run a little bit, so I can't wear them with just stocking feet, I have to wear bulkier socks with them. Overall, I'm very happy!I am shocked at how much I love these (esp. for the low price)! I needed some simple, good quality leather boots for riding my scooter around San Francisco. These are very comfortable for my wide-ish feet, and appear to be great quality. They also are super easy to get off-and-on which is a must for me with 'riding' boots. I may get another color....I so love these boots but they are NOT for large calf women! I have not been able to wear them. I’m not a large gal either but I do have large calves. I can get them on just fine but I can’t zip them up...great boot overall. calf is generous. nice leather. the colour is very pastel so i may wait for summer to wear them or dye them. because the colour is fairly pale i think they will dye nicely. if another colour became available in my price range i would consider buying another pair. for a simple and plain boot they work because they are nicely shaped, good quality and i love the zip detail around the top edge. i don't dislike the colour, i just tend to wear darker clothes but on a cool summer night they would be great with a cotton dress or shorts. they are a pale peachy colour, which is unusual for a nice leather boot so they are eye catching. i may end up loving them for summer.These Boots Are gorgeous. They are unusual. Nice to have the zippered finishing at the top of the boot and the color is luxurious. Looks great with skinny jeans and a comfy oversized sweater in camel color. My five foot two frame finds the boots hitting just below the kneecap. Very comfortable, flattering and fit as expected.AWESOME BOOTS!! By one of the best boots I've purchased in a while (and I buy a lot of boots-I have a bit of a problem jks**) They run a bit big though....about a half size.Fantastic boots. Sturdy, comfortable, well-made, great colour.Wonderful!! My calves are a little too big. I can't zip them all the way but I am still smiling from ear to ear when I wear them. Can't wait for fall!
