Pros:- The product looks good and works. I set it up in the spot where my cats' litter box usually is, and they used their litter box the way they normally would within a few minutes of it being set up.- Package came with all the tools necessary to build it, plus a few extra screws and camlock bolts- Easy to assemble- Helps prevent litter tracking outside of the box- Front-open door means you keep things on top of the litter box enclosure, making using of that spaceCons:- Construction doesn't seem like it will last long. I feel like the screws will soon strip the wood with normal use, opening and closing the door every day. Things just didn't line up or lock in nicely. The hinge attachments were the most disappointing (shown in pictures) because the pre-drilled holes didn't line up with the hardware, and once the screws were in, there was a pretty big gap between the surface of the cabinet and the part of the hinge that was being attached by the screw. Following the pre-marked guides on the parts to attach the door, the door is not well aligned with the frame and rubs against one side every time I open/close it.Tip for future buyers: Check all alignment before installing, don't trust the pre-marked holes, attach screws in different locations if they align better.- Chipped edges (shown in pictures)- Product was dusty/dirty with what seemed like sawdust- Most of the screws required a hex key wrench to install, which is harder to turn by hand. I would have preferred to attach them with a standard phillips-head screw driver with a more ergonomic gripQuick and simple to assemble. Seems pretty sturdy. Yes, a little dusty in packaging.. but nothing that wouldnt be brushed off as warehouse dust/manufacturing debris. Easily wipes off. Did accidentally mark it with pencil which came off easy enough, but splattered paint did not wipe off (wasn't really expected to). Looks like I can easily paint it or make minor adjustments to fit into my style decor.The point was to get the litter box out of my dogs' reach so they stop eating the cat poop (disgusting, I know). I have a medium and large dog, neither of which can figure this out so its a job well done. I'm happy with the purchase.Long story short - I cat moved into the apartment I share a wall with. My 10 yr old cat suddenly started marking. I had to put a litter box in the location - not a place I wanted I one. I tried several ideas and even considered a $500 litter robot. This worked out better than I imagined. Easy enough to assemble - looks nice -and mitigates litter box odors. My cats took to it instantly - it’s easy to clean. The best $100 I’ve spent in a long time.LOVE LOVE LOVE!I assembled this cabinet by myself relatively quickly with no issues. So far it seems like a good product. It did have some chips, but I figured it would. It seems to keep the smell pretty contained and keeps my dogs out of the litter box.If it weren't for the odor that comes off this unit we would have loved it. It's fairly easy to assemble, sturdy and looks exactly as advertised. However, whatever was used to treat the particle board smells horrible- like rotten fish.I've cleaned it numerous times, allowed it to air out for days and the stench is still there.I wish I would have originally spent an extra 40 bucks to buy a more worthwhile product.Edit* 10/16/22The seller is very customer service forward and contacted me to see what we could do to resolve the issue. That's a major plus for me when ordering from companies online and I'm more likely to check out their other products because of it.The smell issue is coming from the exposed particle board, on the latice design, of the door of this unit. I've researched how to seal it in and will update again to see if that solves the problem. I hope that it works because it really is a beautiful, sturdy and functional product.While a little tedious to put together (but that’s probably because I did it by myself), it’s so cute and perfect for my space. Very sturdy.Item arrived damaged. You can see the particle board in the square cutouts which has a cheap feel to it. Looks solid enough to hold a cats weight but don’t put much on top
