I work with excavation construction, and this was the best boot I've ever used, comfortable, practical, no small stones and dirt inside, in short, great.Confortable to wearI really love these boots except for the sole. They way they molded the bottom of the shoe with a lot of nooks and crannies, EVERYTHING gets stuck in them. Mud, grass, you name it. Need to wash them with a hose before coming in house any time there has been a little moisture outside.I would give them a 6 out out of 10 for that fact alone. Otherwise seems well made and comfortable.Ordered these for my husband who has problems with his hands. He has moved to slip-on shoes so he doesn't have to bother with trying to tie laces. He's a plumber and is often on construction sites or working in open ground so I've been concerned about him wearing safe shoes. I was surprised to find him decent work quality shoes at Duluth Trading Co. Neither of us knew they even made slip-on work boots. He loves them and says they're very comfortable. I love knowing he'll have more appropriate boots with winter coming!I'm super hard on my boots and I work with alot of caustic chemicals. I wear them daily and the only issue I have is after 6 months they stretch to the point I need an insert.I did not wear these boots for almost a month until after I bought them other than to slip them on quickly once they arrived. PAfter wearing them one day they are too large for my feet and I have missed out on the return window.I am on my third pair of boots. My first parent last of the year they broke my fault.
