Updated Review 05-21-21BEST CAT TREE EVER! I still have this tree from 2013 and it has been awesome. But it was ragged from much use from three Maine Coon cats. I went shopping for a new tree but none had the features I needed for large cats - mainly perches with firm sides to contain 28 pounds of cat. I gave up. Then I emailed Gopetclub and asked if they sold replacement parts for my tree and THEY DO! I ordered a couple of new poles with rope and.a new shelf. I had recovered the original poles with sisal rope I got on amazon once they were shredded but the actual cardboard tube had a hole and one had a stripped out plastic end where the screw attached. The new poles and shelves were exactly the same color as original tree parts. The parts order process was detailed and thorough and you can buy all of the parts you need. Most other brands I saw said no replacement parts in questions and reviews. I now have essentially a brand new tree for a fraction of the price. And it’s the only tree I would trust for my large cats. I do have the top shelf screwed into the wall for security which was simple to do.Bought in 2013 - original review from 2013This product arrived quickly, was packaged very well, instructions were adequate. It was simple assembly. The one minor detail is that the picture looks like it is a darker color of tan. It is actually a cream colored plush faux fur kind of fabric. It blends well with any decor but I would have preferred a darker beige. The toy attached by elastic was torn off in less than 5 minutes but the rest seems sturdy and stable. I have two large Maine Coon cats and there is no wobbling with this large sturdy base. Plus, the little room on the ground level is nice for older cats who don't want to climb to the house on the second level. The price is so good!!! Locally this would have been at least double the price from Amazon, and you get free shipping with a Prime membership (which I HIGHLY recommend.).
