The steel toe in the left shoe is actually arching/pressing down on my last 2 toes, not to the point of pain but definitely noticeable and a little uncomfortable cuz it balls up your sock, and the right shoe fits just fine. so I don't know if is a manufacturing error or if it's somehow got crushed during delivery I mean there was a compression spot in the Box but nothing that I would think would cause the steel toe to deform. Unfortunately I can't return/replace the item 1. because I've worn it for 2 weeks now hoping it would just be something I could get used to2. because I desperately need the shoes for where I work. I work in a factory that requires steel toe and metatarsal Shields(I have removeable met guards). And I've been trying for the last 3 months until my old shoes literally fell apart to find replacements locally3. I like them. I admit I'm not used to wearing women's shoes at work anymore so when I got these they felt tighter all around because they literally enclose the heel, and are right up along the sides of your feet/arches so I did have to put some extra heel/arch support to prevent the blisters that are caused from rubbing on the sides of the shoe, but I get that with so many shoes that I don't think it's particular to this pair.Overall they are decent shoes and even before I put the Expedition will support inside my feet did not hurt which is a wonderful thing walking/standing on cement floors all day long 12 hours at a time.
